Job Title: Material HandlerPay Rate: $18.50/hourLocation: Greenfield, INJob Duties:

Maintain accurate records
Follow safety guidelines
Keep loading and docking areas clear
Load and unload shipments
Organize inventory
Deliver materials to the right locations
Assist with inventory control by scanning, counting, and tracking items using handheld devices or warehouse management systems (WMS).
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and coworkers. Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or safety hazards.
Transport materials to designated storage areas, ensuring optimal organization of goods for easy retrieval.
Confer and correspond with management to rectify problems, such as damage, shortages, and nonconformance to storage specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work areas, removing debris and hazardous materials as needed.
Perform other duties assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations
Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory tracking software.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 70 lbs) as needed.
