Material Handler (Inspector) - Suddath Companies : Job Details

Pick and pack (order picking and/or assembly of products in less than full case lots), light assembly (assembly of light mechanical or electrical component parts or sub-assemblies that may require the use of hand tools) and record storage. Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Repair and recoup damaged goods as required. Count all product, compare to manifest and check all shipments for damage, infestation and production code dates. Report shortages, damages and miss-shipments on appropriate forms. Sign for inbound shipments when necessary. Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store merchandise. Ensure that the correct number and type of product is picked. Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment. Stencil, tag or mark orders as required.
