Responsible to consistently role model our Core Values.Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities:Responsible for performing general warehousing duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipmentMaintain orderly, clean work environment in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirementsOperate industrial power equipment in a safe mannerStoring and stacking materials according to company standardsEnsure compliance with regulatory and company policies and proceduresRegular bending, kneeling, lifting of 60+ pounds, and climbing steps and laddersTransfers materials and items from receiving dock to bin location or other designated area by hand, hand truck, forklift or other industrial powered truckAssembles and prepares customer orders for shipping and loads the order onto trailersAssists other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requiredPerform complex data entry transactions utilizing provided software and hardwareAccurately execute inventory functions/processes as assignedRecognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customerIdentifies damaged products and takes appropriate action when discoveredProperly prepares, handles, and maintains all required documentationTrains others in warehouse functions, processes, housekeeping requirements, and safety protocolsPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/managerCritical Core Competencies and Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to operate a forklift and/or order picker in a safe and efficient manner.Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customersHigh level of organization and follow throughResults oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environmentComfortable interacting with high-level leaders in across functional disciplinesRegular attendance is requiredAbility and willingness to work overtime/flexible hours as assigned by supervisorAbility to keep all business and operations information confidentialFamiliarity with modern warehousing practices, methods, and theoriesExcellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skillMust be highly organized with strong ability to multi-taskAble to assess competing demands and determine appropriate directionProven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment; agile, flexible and resilientThis position has been designated as a Safety Sensitive Position.
