Work Schedule: First Shift (Days) Environmental Conditions: Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Warehouse

Job Description: Through the Analytical Instruments Group (AIG), Thermo Fisher provides a broad offering of instruments, reagents, consumables, software and services that are used for range of applications in the laboratory, on the production line and in the field. Our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry business provides analytical instrumentation for organic and inorganic sample analysis. These products are complemented by laboratory information management systems (LIMS)m chromatography data systems (CDS); database analytical tools; automation systems; and a range of consumables, such as a full line of chromatography columns.

Crucial Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain RF scanning guns and change batteries as needed use of weigh scales.
  • Report equipment problems to Manager.
  • Prioritize, read and understand work orders.
  • Locate raw materials and scan materials out of inventory using an RF gun.
  • Pull items and deliver to production area.
  • Scan location and place work order with product when staging raw materials for production.
  • Must learn to operate turret truck, order picker, and motorized pallet jack.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by management.

Physical Activities: Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects

Specific Scope Data: Position to support and help push to achieve all Key Business Goals for the business which include but are not limited to: Safety, Quality, Customer Delivery, Customer Allegiance Score, and PPI & Productivity Savings.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School education or GED.
