TE Connectivity's Material Handler Teams perform the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. They unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items. They lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Material Handlers prepare and maintain records of shipments, post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment. They examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines and may prepare kitting packages for assembly production. ****What your background should look like:****

Position Overview:

Working in the Warehouse Area and will be responsible for storing, maintaining,

and distributing materials to the manufacturing floor ensuring timely delivery to the production schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivers and stages raw materials, components, and work in process to Production work centers.

A team player who can work Independently and cooperatively with peers in a fast pace environment.

Performs other duties as needed or assigned and to be flexible to work overtime as needed.

Ensures proper cleanliness of equipment and work area in accordance with company housekeeping, safety, environmental,

and TEOA guidelines.

What your background should look like:

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum of one-year related experience in materials handling & inventory control processing Materials transactions

using an ERP System Preferred.

Prior Forklift Experience Preferred- Stand up and Sit down

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisor, press operator, and fellow employees.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

ERP SAP experience is a plus.

Prior working experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Stand, walk, talk, and Reach with hands and arms.

Walk through narrow aisles.

Stoop, kneel, crouch ,go up and down ladders.

Frequently lift/move up to 35 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision & color vision.
