As a Material Handler, you'll play a vital role in our operations while gaining hands-on experience and expanding your skill set. The Material Handler is Responsible for: • Pull and stage building material products (lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, decking, siding) • Safely load and unload materials on a variety of truck typed including semi, box trucks and flat beds. • Assist customers with loading materials. • Accurately complete shipping and inventory documents. • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. • Adhere to all safety procedures and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements. • Work outdoors in various weather conditions while staying adaptable and prepared. Requirements • Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center. • Permanent authorization to work in the United States. • 18 Years or older. • Reliable transportation. • Physical capability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and up to 100 lbs in a team lift. • commitment to safety and teamwork. • Availability to work during operating hours, M-F 7a-6p and Saturdays from 7a-12p. Overtime as needed.
