Material Handler 2 (Receiver) - BAE Systems, plc : Job Details

Verifies, inspects and records receipt of incoming material to ensure timely delivery to designated areas.Visually checks all incoming material to verify quantity and for any damage to package or contents. Compares accompanying paperwork against contents and original purchasing records to confirm that the proper items have been received and inputs verification of same.Documents missing or damaged parts and completes necessary paperwork.Adheres to company guidelines regarding the proper handling of classified and/or hazardous materials.Routes packages according to inspection code.Supports internal Customers in tracking material movements within and external to the facility.Works closely with Stockroom and Mail Services staff in the packaging and distribution of material within and external to the facilityPerforms other duties and responsibilities as required.Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School education and 1 to 3 years of related experience.Ability to lift and move mat...Material Handler, Handler, Manufacturing
