Material Handler 2 - Full Time - Goodwill Industries of San Joaquin Valley : Job Details

The Material Handler 2 (MH 2) provides advanced material handling support to Distribution Center operations through safe and accurate receiving, stocking, and order selecting and shipping. The MH 2 will also be required to perform Material Handler 1 job duties. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Providing material handling support by: Replenish selected material as requested/ordered. Select ordered materials, ensuring material is free from damage, accurately selected according to requisition, communicating any identified damages/variances to the Warehouse Manager. Load selected material for shipment to stores; ensuring merchandise is free from damage, accurately placed on assigned trailer according to load plan, communicating any damages, variances or possible weight/cube limitation concerns to Warehouse Manager. Accurately complete, log and transmit all receipts, pallet moves, selected orders and loading requirements as directed.
