Material Handler - 1st Shift - Control Devices : Job Details

Position Title: Material HandlerDepartment: Carr Lane Direct LaborLocation: St. Louis, MOReports To: Quality Supervisor Classification: Hourly - Non-ExemptPosition Summary:The primary purpose of this position is to assemble valves for testing, filling and weighing valves, and production testing responsibilities as needed. Because responsibilities involve cross functional areas within operations, one must be versatile and take on various duties as assigned by the supervisor.Essential Job Duties:Attach oxygen valves to cylinders by hand/toolFill oxygen valves with Nitrogen and place in binsWeigh oxygen valves and apply sticker and place in binsLifting and moving bins of material weighing up to 35 lbs.Completing paperwork and moving racks aroundTesting oxygen valves or assembly work as assignedRequired Experience/Skills:Ability to sit, stand, reach, pull, bend, and lift throughout the entire shiftAbility to perform intense physical labor Ability to lift up to 35 poundsAbility to work individually and as part of a teamAbout Control Devices, LLCControl Devices, LLC ( Control Devices or CD ) is a leading designer & manufacturer of high-quality flow control valves, condensate removal traps, related components & accessories serving the compressed air, pressure washer, vehicle systems, fire protection, specialty gas, & the industrial, agricultural & food service float valve markets.
