About the Opportunity: About the Opportunity: •Job Title: Material Handler •Pay Rate Range:$20-22/Hour •Location:Plymouth, MN •Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Thurs 6AM-3:30PM and Fri 6AM-10AM. •Position Type:Temp to Hire Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills. Detail oriented. Experience with RF scanners. Math ability. Reasoning Ability Previous Material handling experience Regularly required to sit, stand, and move around and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Required to lift material on an average of 20-75 pounds. Required to talk and hear. Required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and balance. Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities:
Moves, stacks, loads, unload material in and about the plant while rotating stock as well. Read and interpret routing sheets, enter, and print Purchase Orders and Labels, and assign and enter stock locations. Keep parts, shelves, and work area orderly. Inventory parts regularly, reporting any shortages. Other duties as assigned including helping with metal finishing about a 60% material handling and 40% studding being a shop helper to fill all 40 hours. Work with direct supervision. Complete job assignments on time. Follow all safety rules, including using all recommended personal protection equipment.
