Where you'll work: Our Bethlehem, PA, location is part of our Liquid Beverage division and specializes in coffee extract and flavorings created for Kerry products and customers! 5000 Township Line Road, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18017 Pay Rate/Hourly Rate/shift differential: 22.00/hr. Shift/Working Hours: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm The hiring wage for this role is $22.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. As a Material Handler at Kerry's Bethlehem coffee processing site, you'll play a vital role in the movement and management of materials that fuel our liquid concentrated coffee production. You'll be responsible for handling raw green coffee beans (in supersacks), coffee powder, packaging supplies, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to production areas. This position supports the entire supply chainfrom receiving raw materials to staging outbound shipments of our signature coffee concentrates.

  • Safely unload incoming shipments of green coffee beans, coffee powder, and packaging materials
  • Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to designated storage or production areas
  • Stage raw materials for production batches based on schedule and inventory needs
  • Assist in the preparation and loading of outbound shipments of liquid concentrated coffee
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts
  • Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored, and tracked in accordance with site procedures
  • Follow all safety protocols and report any equipment or material issues promptly
  • Support housekeeping efforts to maintain a clean and organized warehouse and production environment
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations

High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in material handling, warehousing, or food manufacturing preferred Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills Food-grade manufacturing facility focused exclusively on coffee products Exposure to coffee aromas, temperature variations, and warehouse noise Use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hearing protection as required
