When we contribute to the company's success, we all win.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESFulfills all required tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure targets are met relating to inventory, delivery, and quality, and achieving all targets to satisfy customer requirements.Accurately pull and stage material required for work orders and recording all required trace documentation.Loads all outgoing shipments of material accurately and safely ensuring all material is correctly labeled, packaged, and is loaded on the correct freight carrier.Assists with unloading all incoming material in accordance with standard operating procedure.Conducts cycle counts to include counting of inventory, materials, or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records, both manually and in computerVerifies clerical computations against physical count of stock investigate and report reasons for any discrepancies.Tracks the movement of inventory from one location to another within the warehouse and track movement between warehouses.Maintains clear, concise and detailed records of all counting activities.Knowledgeable and participate in Year End Physical Inventories.Assists Inventory Control Specialist with conducting cycle counts to include counting of inventory, materials, or supplies in stock and post totals to inventory records.Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and all inventory space neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsFollows all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are metPractices safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectationsAudits outbound shipments for customers to ensure 100% complianceAnalyzes inventory discrepancies by researching variances and identifying root cause by formulating recommendations for improvement of inventory accuracy.Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the jobQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/KNOWLEDGEHigh School Diploma or Equivalency2-5 Years of material handling/inventory experience in a manufacturing environmentForklift Certification preferredBasic computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)Previous experience working with cycle counting and inventory maintenanceKnowledge of ERP/CRM systemsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain focus in a fast-paced environmentHighly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsBending, lifting, stooping, and standing greater than 50% of the timeRepetitive motion demandsHands/wrist/shoulder.Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds as needed.
