Move raw material (wire and components) to machines as needed. Move and weigh up product from machines to staging and shipping areas. Move raw material to designated location in facility. Organize empty tubs and wire carriers into cargo boxes. Reads product processing form or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved. Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Loads and unloads materials on or from pallets, trays, racks, or carrier. Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Counts, weighs, and records numbers of unites of materials moved or handles on interplant form and key-in pan tickets for production reporting. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials and make ID tags from information provided by suppliers.
