MAU is hiring a Material Control Specialist II for our client in Greer, SC. As a Material Control Specialist II, you will optimize inventory levels, manage parts ordering, analyze supplier performance, and serve as a key liaison between logistics stakeholders. This is a long-term, renewable contract opportunity. Benefits Package Major medical coverage, including dental and vision 401(k) with employer matching Term life insurance Short-term disability coverage Accidental loss protection Uniform allowance Paid time off and holidays Market-leading pay Opportunities for advancement Long-term assignment with potential for client hire Shift Information Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, International Business (with German concentration), or related field OR 4 years of equivalent professional experience in Material Planning (including MRP) 4+ years of experience in Material Planning 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management 4+ years of experience in Material Control and Production Control Management Preferred Education and Experience Experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Basic knowledge of German or Spanish General Requirements Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) Essential Functions Control supplies and stock by timely planning the correct quantity of parts while optimizing stock on hand Perform basic data processing and parameter administration in the Material Planning system Support ongoing series production, manage parts run-in/run-out, and process technical changes to minimize obsolescence costs Maintain and analyze monthly supplier ratings and yearly SUMIS (Supplier Management Information System) data Participate in departmental or cross-functional projects Act as a liaison to suppliers, carriers, logistics associations, and institutions Perform other duties as assigned by the operations supervisor
