Material Buyer - Wieland Rolled Products North America : Job Details

Material Buyer Responsibilities:Fast and accurate typing and document tracking and retrieval Prepare orders and order lists, reviewing details, and maintaining accuracy. Follow up on shipments, and provide accurate information to the Sales Team. Provide specific customer updates, on-hand inventory, open order status, and order follow-ups. Enter order information and bring discrepancies to the attention of management. Thorough understanding of how to sort and manipulate data. Maintain excellent document control, both hard copy and electronic. Ensure confidential information is housed in a controlled location -Promptly respond to phone calls, emails, and correspondence. Document and update orders, records, and files as necessary. Seek out information if orders appear to be incomplete. Material Buyer Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing/ Operations, Supply Chain Management or an equivalent level of degree.
