Job DetailsLevel Experienced Job Location Simi Valley Plant - SImi Vallely, CA Position Type Full-Time Education Level High School Salary Range $21.00 - $21.50 Hourly Travel Percentage None Job Shift First Shift Job Category Manufacturing Material Handler Under minimal supervision, uses a pallet jack and different types of forklift trucks to move raw material and finished product to and from the production area, primarily the Assembly and Packing areas.

• Assist in the palletizing, banding, and stretch wrapping of the product, as instructed.
• Inspects and maintains forklift truck for compliance with safety requirements according to daily Forklift Truck Inspection procedure. Corrects any safety issues prior to operating the forklift truck.
• Requisitions materials from warehouse. Inspects material for shipping damage and/or supplier defects.
• Performs assembling and packing functions as required.
• Inspects finished products per applicable procedures.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications to properly select parts.
• Capable of using measuring devices to perform product inspection.
• Ability to read and understand equipment operating, maintenance, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Capable of safely operating various forklift trucks (sit down).
• Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates.
