Master Electrician - Automation Personnel Services : Job Details

Job DescriptionMASTER ELECTRICIANAutomation Personnel Services is looking for a Master Electrician for a company based in Bessemer, AL. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Pay Rate Pay strictly depending on experience. Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 4 00 pm.Master Electrician Duties and Responsibilities• Leads, guides, and/or trains other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques• Ability to lead a project may grow into leading the areaEffectively interpret blueprints/technical drawings• May perform work of lower-level electricians• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices• Reads, employs, and updates electrical panel schedules• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, equipment, and control systemsMaster Electrician Qualifications and Requirements• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check • Minimal 4 years Electrical experience • Working knowledge of construction math, blueprint and technical drawing interpretation, and power/hand tool use-including use of conduit bender • Ability to perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including, but not limited to: Willing to work on knees, willing to work outside when necessary, lifting 50lbs • Ability to travel to job site locations for installs and troubleshooting (may be overnight, out of state) • Willing to perform all assigned tasks and be self-sufficient and self-motivated • Reliable and timely transportation • Willing to work doing tasks outside of this job description as needed, including housekeeping duties in work area • Job requires PPE including steel toed or EH Composite toed shoes/boots • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including some Saturday's (usually half days) ability to stay until tasks are finished properly - flexible end of day (jobs may require staying past regular end of shift)Job TypeFull-timeBenefits • Weekly Pay• 401(k) retirement plan• Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability and life insurance• 5 paid Vacation Days after 1 year of continuous service (paid as a service bonus)• 6 paid Holidays after 1500 continuous hours of service within a calendar yearInterested in this job?Click Apply Now, email your resume to [email protected], or call us at 205.###.#### to learn more.
