The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Technicians use their knowledge, experience & skills to diagnose and repair vehicles for our guests Perform a wide range of accurate automotive testing, diagnosis and repairs with best-in-class quality workmanshipContinuously apply and build experience as an automotive technician across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehiclesPerform complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy digital vehicle inspectionsWork as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectivelyFollow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organizationWork closely with the service department and effectively communicate guest concerns Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished resultsQualificationsQualifications: Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanicCurrent ASE Certifications, Master, L1 Preferred; or a plan to achieveNC State Inspector License preferredCapable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehiclesStrong experience with both domestic and import vehiclesHave the drive and the ability to flag 40-50+ hours per weekKnowledgeable with reflashing/reprogramming process, all vehicle systemsDemonstrated diagnostic and service expertise in the areas of driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and other mechanical systems, domestic and importDiesel Experience helpfulAptitude for learning additional skills and processesProfessional appearance and strong communicationA desire for long-term career developmentMust possess a valid North Carolina driver's licensePhysical Requirements:Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 poundsBe able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their headWork in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repairHave the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand toolsWalk/stand for the majority of their workdayDrive manual transmissions vehiclesEfficiently navigate a computerAdditional InformationChristian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
