Job Type Full-time Description Mastectomy And Orthotic Fitter.Position Summary: This position will be responsible for providing patient care for adult and pediatric patients who require a variety of mastectomy and prefabricated orthotic devices. Requirements Responsibilities:
- Formulate treatment plans and assess patients' needs for mastectomy as well OTS or custom fit items.
- Maintain quality assurance to ensure patient satisfaction and continued success.
- Work in conjunction with office setting, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health Agencies, rehabilitation facilities, hospitals, house calls, and acute care.
- Evaluate and provide excellent patient care.
- Ordering and stocking orthotic devices, maintaining stock levels, and reducing overhead cost
- Work in conjunction with administrative staff and assist with patient scheduling and patient flow.
- Conduct educational classes for doctors and staff as needed (In-service)
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation records are kept for each patient encounter.
- May be asked to be a part of Weekend and after hour Hospital call rotation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical or healthcare setting experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to listen and communicate in an empathetic manner.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Self-starter, motivated and detail-oriented
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to resolve issues from patients in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations.
- Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Identify and reconcile issues or problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided by SG homecare.
- Thorough understanding of biomechanical principles, gait analysis, kinesiology, human anatomy and physiology.
Salary Description $25hr to $26hr
