Maryville Access Representative - Admitting & Registration - Mosaic Life Care : Job Details

This position greets patients, visitors and ascertains their needs, presenting a professional, courteous appearance. Registers patients timely and accurately online. Follows Patient Access standards to ensure adequate data collection and distribution. This position works under the supervision of the Manager and is employed by Mosaic Health System. Duties Registers or activates patient accounts timely and accurately, updating if necessary to ensure the integrity of the database, registers medical center outpatient, lab specimens, and emergency room patients. Obtains appropriate signatures for the following: Hospital Consent to Treat, Assignment of Insurance Benefits, Notice of Privacy Practice if applicable, Insurance pre-certification arrangements and financial responsibility, this includes contacting family, legal guardian, DPOA, or appropriate person when necessary for consent to treat.
