Marsh Technician - Manulife Financial Corporation : Job Details

Responsible for general labor functions for cranberry marshes. The employee will perform manual work associated with planting, cultivating, irrigation, and harvesting of cranberries. The employee will also perform general care and upkeep of the ranch facilities and equipment. Position Responsibilities:Performing duties as assigned on a daily basis by the Marsh Manager or Foreman. Effective, efficient, orderly and timely farming operations including irrigation and frost watch with frequent oversight from the Marsh Manager or Foreman. Assisting other employees in performing their duties efficiently and effectively. Promptly reporting problems or successes, and any other reports required by Marsh Manager. Following company safety policies and procedures. Operation and daily maintenance of farming equipment used on the property with oversight from the Marsh Manager or Foreman. Other duties as assigned.
