Summary: Oversee all reservations and to manage the owner rotation.

Requirements:

Other abilities, skills, knowledge:

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, e-mail.

* Working knowledge of Marriott Systems, MGS, MARRFP, One Yield, MRDW, EPIC, MARSHA, PMS, Sceris, Real Merchant, Etools and STRGlobal

* Capable of creating word documents, working charts, and spreadsheets.

* Understanding of general hotel operations and the philosophy of yield management.

Reservations Ensure all of the following are completed

* All in house reservations are handled properly.

* Keep an open line of communication with the Central Reservations

* The effective clearing of exceptions in PMS and queues in MARSHA

* Advance payments are taken correctly and in a timely manner

* Manage FIT reservations per the contracts

* Ensure arrivals, stayovers and departures are set up

* Contact Platinum and Gold members offering them upgrades to suites at a minimal fee.

* Block arrival rooms according to the owner rotation in order to achieve equal revenue for all rooms within the same room type.

* Update the STAR Report with actual revenue and occupancy. Review this report weekly and monthly to analyze against the competitive set.
