Marketing & Sales SpecialistBuffalo, NYStatus: Full-TimeClassification: ExemptPay: $51,000 to $65,000 per year (base)Additional Compensation: Commission Pay OpportunitiesSchedule: Monday to Friday; weekends as neededLocation: Buffalo, NYSenior Helpers, the nation's premier provider of in-home senior services, is in search of a Marketing & Sales Specialist to join the Buffalo, NY team. Senior Helpers' services range from specialized care for those with dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's, to personal and companion care. The Marketing & Sales Specialist is responsible for generating new client leads and closing service calls through direct sale calls. This will be accomplished through developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with the professional community who are in a position to refer potential clients to our Company.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Develop relationships with potential referral sources, such as healthcare professionals, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living with rehabilitation and/or respite care, and senior living centers, to encourage client lead sources.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales plans to promote Senior Helpers' services to potential clients, including individuals, families, Veterans, and community organizations.
  • Perform client assessments and coordinate with the office staff to ensure client starts in a timely manner.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with the individuals responsible for, or in a position to, refer clients to our company. This includes private, public, and non-profit organizations.
  • Create marketing materials, presentations, and service campaigns to successfully communicate and promote Senior Helpers' services.
  • Attend and participate in networking events, such as trade shows, conferences and community outreach programs to promote Senior Helpers' services and generate new clients. Network with others in the industry to develop additional lead sources.
  • Assist in developing and coordinating various marketing methods including direct mail, print ads, and networking, as well as new methods of marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, finance, economics or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one year sales experience in the home health care industry. Three years of related experience is preferred.
  • Computer skills, with working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client sites.
