Responsibilities
  • Prepare for the launch of the U.S. EROPs. Create a launch strategy that delivers a timely launch, with materials supporting widespread adoption and an educated/prepared market as a priority.
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research and ongoing visits to key opinion leaders (KOLs), nurses and administrators.
  • Identify and communicate new product and feature opportunities to the GPM group.
  • Provide financial and technical justification for product selection and definition.
  • Participate in new product development teams to evaluate future product opportunities.
  • Become an expert and clinical owner for products designated for regional launch; understand the market and its applications.
  • Develop a product introduction plan including advertising and promotional initiatives with marketing communications and sales; identify selling opportunities (e.g., trade expositions, conferences).
  • Lead annual planning for product lines, including communication plans, clinical plans, forecasting, risk assessment, and structural recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (operations, sales, sales support, marcom, global product management, etc.) and act as a hub in the product management model.
  • Provide leadership of local product launches through all phases of pre-launch activities, including inventory planning, regulatory compliance, product evaluations, sales training, and order processing readiness.
  • Develop sales strategies addressing competitive activity; analyze current competition, position the product, and translate superior performance into customer benefits.
  • Track and evaluate product performance and sales after launch through KPIs; monitor customer satisfaction and communicate field feedback to global product management.
  • Track financial performance to achieve revenue objectives and provide KPI guidance and training to drive performance.
  • Monitor competitive responses to new product introductions and counter appropriately.
  • Partner with Service to improve the service experience and profitability for the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline required. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of product marketing, product management, and/or product specialist experience required. Additional sales experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device, life sciences or biotech industry preferred. Past endoscopy, sonography or pulmonology experience a plus.
  • Experience as a sonographer is a plus but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and execute with urgency.
  • blends business, application and technical acumen with a big-picture vision and drive to realize it.
  • Skilled at leading cross-functional teams in a multi-national organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently and in a large team.
  • Highest levels of personal and professional integrity.
  • Excellent track record in establishing solid business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong professional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Domestic travel up to 35% required plus occasional international travel.
