Marketing Manager

The Role

As a Marketing Manager, you will support the execution of promotional campaigns to advance organizational business goals.

As a key member of the US commercial marketing team, you will contribute to marketing initiatives, help elevate brand presence, and coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.

This role reports into the Senior Director, US Marketing Organized Customers and requires strong project management skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Here's What You'll Do

  • US Congresses and Conventions Strategy & Execution: Support the development and coordination of US Conference and Congress initiatives. Assist in content creation, logistics, and partner alignment to ensure a meaningful presence in the competitive US vaccine landscape.
  • US Payer Marketing Execution: Assist in the execution and refinement of promotional assets to support the US Payer Marketing strategy. Track utilization and performance metrics and support updates based on business needs.
  • US Public Sector Execution: Coordinate the development and rollout of promotional campaigns and materials aligned to the US Public Sector strategy. Support performance tracking to inform future improvements.
  • Field Communications: Help manage the field communications process by preparing content, applying templates, and coordinating review and approval workflows.
  • Asset Development Process: Manage day-to-day operations of the MLR (Medical/Legal/Regulatory) review and approval process for assigned materials. Ensure adherence to approved product labels and regulatory standards in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Marketing Excellence: Leverage insights from customer data, sales trends, and campaign performance to suggest refinements to existing materials. Stay informed on vaccine customer dynamics and adjust execution accordingly.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Medical, and Commercial to align tactical execution. Help manage external agency partners and vendors to support project delivery.
  • Annual Planning: Contribute tactical inputs and data to the annual marketing planning process. Assist in aligning executional plans to strategic imperatives.
  • Budget Management: Monitor assigned budget areas and provide input to resource allocation decisions to ensure efficient and compliant execution.

Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public health, communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or medical/scientific communications
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking skills
  • Proven ability to partner across a matrixed organization
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience influencing without direct authority
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, analytical acumen, and exceptional overall business insights

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience in vaccine or pharmaceutical marketing
  • Experience in developing and executing a US Congress and Conventions strategy
  • Proactive leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and CRM platforms
  • Proven track record of managing tactical design, messaging, and execution
  • Experience managing creative agencies and/or other third-party vendors
  • Experience bringing promotional materials through the medical/legal review process
  • Expertise in Veeva PromoMats
