Content Marketing Manager, News & Video

Overview: At Storyful, we help global brands, publishers, and producers navigate today's complex content landscape with trusted, verified video. As a key member of our New York-based growth team, you'll lead content strategy for our News & Video business creating powerful, reusable storytelling that drives pipeline momentum, customer retention, and industry relevance.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a strategic content marketer who thrives at the intersection of editorial excellence and commercial outcomes. You'll work side-by-side with sales, product, and executive leaders to shape the narratives that support conversion and long-term growth.
What You'll Do:
- Own the strategy, planning, and execution of anchor content that serves as the foundation for integrated campaigns, sales enablement, and event programming
- Lead the editorial planning system, managing a content calendar aligned to product priorities, campaign goals, and external event moments
- Translate insights from internal teams and product experts into compelling, audience-first narratives for newsrooms, producers, and brand publishers
- Ensure content is reused across channels, from newsletters and social to sales collateral and PR amplification
- Collaborate with internal lead to align content with nurture paths and conversion goals
- Work with internal SMEs and external freelance writers and designers to scale production across formats
- Partner with executive leadership on event narratives and flagship campaign storytelling
- Track and report on performance metrics tied to lead generation, meeting volume, and sales outcomes
Who You Are:
- 5+ years in B2B content marketing, ideally in media, publishing, or digital platforms
- A strong editor and storyteller with a record of producing high-performing content across formats and funnels
- Prior experience in publishing or media environments strongly preferred especially if you've worked with newsroom or business-side editorial leaders
- Experienced managing freelancers and briefing contributors to deliver with speed and quality
- Deeply familiar with integrated campaign workflows, editorial systems, and CRM or marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred)
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hybrid team embedded with sales and executive partners
