OVERVIEW: Our client, one of the largest Energy companies in US providing a wide range of Energy related products and services to its customers, seeks an accomplished Marketing / Events Coordinator

Position: Marketing / Events Coordinator

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 8 months+ Contract with high possibility of extension!

Pay rate: $34/ hr

Note:

  • Schedule: Hybrid onsite + remote work
  • Hours: 9 am-5 pm

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The team is looking for a marketing/event coordination specialist. You will be supporting the E-Mobility marketing manager with day-to-day coordination of marketing efforts including, but not limited to: management of events calendar, preparation for e-blasts, and webinars. You'll work closely with the sales team to coordinate their events calendar and act as liaison with external event organizers. Additional duties drafting/updating program updates, e-blasts, and outreach presentations. Attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role as you will be interfacing with a lot of different stakeholders, both internally and externally.

  • 1-3 years sales or other customer-facing experience preferred, or other applicable work experience.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, and must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication through oral and written form
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, especially word and PowerPoint. Excel is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively both as an individual and a member of a team.
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of slide decks, collateral, and program updates.
  • Coordinate outreach team's events calendar including acting as a liaison with event organizers and preparing materials. Research and purpose additional events the teams to attend.
  • Organize internal meetings including speaker/deck coordination, facility/IT coordination, day-of logistics/food.
  • Manage collateral and giveaway inventory. Preparing requisitions to purchase additional giveaways and event materials as needed.
  • Additional ad hoc marketing/outreach related activities.
  • Abiding by site rules and regulations, including all company safety rules/regulations.
