We are currently partnered with an innovative and mission-driven diagnostics company to find a Director of Marketing who will elevate their commercial visibility, support product adoption, and drive brand engagement across multiple healthcare markets. Position Summary

The Director of Marketing will report directly to the President and work closely with the Sales and Quality teams to build a strong market presence and drive customer adoption. You'll lead marketing efforts across multiple channels, develop compelling product messaging, manage social media presence, collaborate with distribution partners, and contribute to commercial growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, aligned with commercial goals.
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns tailored to distinct customer segments.
  • Oversee social media strategy and brand messaging across platforms.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to design distributor and customer-facing programs.
  • Produce compelling marketing and promotional content (e.g., white papers, brochures, awareness materials).
  • Support internal and external marketing resources including sales enablement tools and distributor materials.
  • Manage corporate press releases and digital presence.
  • Analyse marketing data and KPIs to optimize campaign performance.
  • Lead generation, qualification, and pipeline development.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and maintain intelligence tools.
  • Manage marketing CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and track campaign effectiveness.
  • Support tradeshow strategy, including collateral, messaging, and speaker coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, product strategy, or product management within healthcare, diagnostics, or medical devices.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing and channel marketing.
  • Strong understanding of regulated industries (IVD, medical devices, biotech, or pharma).
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong operational mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work independently in a virtual setting.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience launching medical or diagnostic products.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments such as FDA, CE IVD, or CLIA-waived testing.
  • Creative, resourceful, and mission-driven.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
