Job Summary The Marketing Assistant/Coordinator II will support the Armani Marketing team with retail marketing initiatives across both makeup and fragrance categories. The core focus of this role will be the planning, execution, and operational coordination of Gift Sets and Gifts with Purchase (GWPs), working closely with global, regional, and cross-functional teams. This position is ideal for someone with strong project management capabilities, attention to detail, and a passion for beauty marketing. Key Responsibilities
Gift Set & GWP Development Propose and develop mixes for Gift Sets and GWPs in collaboration with the Makeup and Fragrance category teams. Review and utilize available inventory of bags and samples; propose efficient usage aligned with marketing priorities. Coordinate orders for new bags/accessories from the global team as needed. Project Coordination & System Management Brief local Promotional Operations on Gift Set and GWP mix details for execution. Route and manage codes for Gift Sets and GWPs in internal systems; maintain accuracy and timeliness. Track and manage project timelines in partnership with Promo Operations and Creative Operations teams. Liaise with local and global creative teams (including Paris) to support artwork creation and final asset delivery. Collaborate with Trade Marketing to confirm quantities and align with retail and promotional strategies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in a marketing coordination, retail marketing, or project management role (preferably within beauty, luxury, or CPG industries). Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines simultaneously. High level of comfort learning and navigating internal systems; prior experience with SKU/code generation is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes thoroughly. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications (if any) Experience working in a global or matrixed organization. Familiarity with promotional operations, creative operations workflows, and inventory coordination. Proficiency in Excel and exposure to marketing systems or databases.
