The Workforce Staffing Candidate Attraction team is a skilled, customer-obsessed recruiting team responsible for sourcing candidates across multiple locations for entry-level warehouse and fulfillment roles. We seek talented, driven individuals to help build Amazon's future talent pipeline.

The Market Response Specialist will manage strategic relationships and candidate sourcing initiatives across one of four US territories, focusing on mitigating fill risks via partnerships with community organizations, workforce development agencies, educational institutions, and non-profits. The role emphasizes building networks in risk markets, increasing Day 1 Starts (D1S), generating leads for candidate pipelines, and reducing operational costs through strategic venue sourcing for New Hire Events.

This position requires developing innovative partnership strategies, implementing pilots, and adjusting approaches based on market needs. KPIs include increasing hourly entry-level talent, removing local application obstacles, reducing advertising and recruitment costs, and meeting hiring goals.

The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder management, adapt to fast-paced environments, and craft effective messaging to position Amazon as a top local employer. Key skills include consulting, facilitation, influencing, communication, analysis, risk evaluation, empathy, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities include developing local recruitment strategies, achieving KPIs, deploying solutions to mitigate fill risks, building candidate pipelines, removing application barriers, establishing long-term community relationships, analyzing labor markets, influencing internal stakeholders, reporting on KPIs, organizing community events, leading projects, sourcing cost-effective venues, and traveling up to 50% within the region.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, SQL, QuickSight

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume recruiting, including outsourcing
