Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full demand to delivery process for Maersk Line vessels.
  • Conduct RFQ processes with non-contracted suppliers to ensure optimal deliveries.
  • Adhere to Procure to Pay procedures for timely payments and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Engage with technical teams for effective stakeholder management.
  • Optimize vessel budgets, negotiate contracts and assess Supplier Performance.
  • Forecast demand and allocate volumes based on annual spending data.
  • Follow the 4R Principles: Right price, Right place, Right time, Right quantity.
  • Support Maersk's carbon-neutral initiatives to reduce supply chain emissions.
  • Collaborate with Master Data teams to maintain data quality and enhance catalogue coverage at key ports.
  • Foster new supplier relationships and respond swiftly to stakeholder issues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree with a background in procurement; experience in Shipping/O&G is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain roles from reputable organizations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of logistics, vessel operations, and customs regulations.
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively with keen attention to detail.
  • Appreciates diversity and excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
