Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Combo Welders for projects located in and around San Diego, CA. This is a second shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $29/hour based on experience plus $150/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Marine Combo Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Perform combo welding on FCAW, aluminum, and structural componentsWeld various joint types (fillet, groove, lap) in all positions and multiple passesConduct cutting and gouging with carbon electrodesUse pneumatic and electric tools to grind, clean, and prepare weld jointsWork in shop, production table, and shipboard environmentsRequirements:Minimum 5 years of Shipyard Welding experience; If you do not haverecent Marine experience of at least 5 years, you will NOT be considered for this role!OSHA 10 Maritime and Fire Watch CertificationMust have a vision test and respirator fit test completed prior to startMust be able to pass background check and drug screeningProficient in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) - this is a minimum requirementExperience with aluminum and marine-grade 5XXX is a plusAbility to safely lift, maneuver, and weld structural components in all environmentsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
