As a Marina Support Specialist, you are in the center of the action at the bustling Cap Sante Marina at the Port's Harbormaster's Office. You will be responsible for a full range of administrative operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, processing payments, ensuring customer information remains secure, managing guest reservations, and more! Your focus on accuracy and efficiency will keep things moving smoothly in this fast-paced environment.

Most importantly, you provide outstanding, friendly customer service to all port guests and tenants. You answer, respond to, and manage customer requests and inquiries in person, over a VHF radio, via email, and on the phone. Educating customers, you are able to ensure compliance with established port and marina best management practices, rules, and regulations.

You also conduct thorough research in customer accounts, analyzing and verifying statement amounts, making proper adjustments when necessary. You always have your eyes open, looking for the next process improvement or project that you can help with. You enjoy helping people find what they need in our amazing community and ensuring they enjoy their recreation time. Each day brings a new adventure in this customer service/hospitality position!

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of customer service experience in a bookkeeping or hospitality-related field
• Intermediate-level computer skills and working knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

The schedule changes seasonally between a 5/8s schedule (winter) and a 4/10s schedule (summer), always including at least one weekend day and some holidays. Hours are 7:45 am - 4:45 pm (winter) and 7:45 am - 6:15 pm (summer).
