Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Pay Range: $18.00/hr – $20.16/hr (dependent on shift)

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling cartridges, formulation reagents, and related components in a clean room environment. You'll operate manufacturing equipment, ensure compliance with quality standards, and contribute to a safe and efficient production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing & Assembly:

  • Assemble cartridges, kits, and components following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Operate manufacturing and assembly line equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform precision tasks requiring careful manual dexterity

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Adhere to cGMP, ISO, and FDA regulatory standards
  • Accurately complete documentation, including work orders and batch records
  • Review and submit records for quality assurance approval

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Participate in continuous improvement and help resolve production line issues
  • Support cross-training and special manufacturing projects

Safety & Quality:

  • Follow all safety protocols, including chemical handling and equipment use
  • Maintain high standards for quality and compliance
  • Promote a culture of safety, precision, and accountability

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in medical device or clean room manufacturing
  • Familiarity with automation systems and vacuum chamber equipment
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Strong manual dexterity and accuracy in documentation
  • Willingness to work a flexible shift schedule

Soft Skills:

  • High attention to detail and quality control
  • Professional and effective communicator
  • Reliable, self-driven, and highly organized
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Work Environment:

  • Clean room and lab-based setting
  • Moderate noise, exposure to chemicals, and automated equipment
  • May require lifting up to 35 lbs
  • Visual focus required for small component assembly and inspection
