Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift - North Dakota Staffing : Job Details

Cirrus of Grand Forks is looking for Manufacturing Technicians. The Cirrus Facility in Grand Forks produces composite fiberglass parts such as wings, fuselages, horizontals, and their accompanying parts for the Cirrus SR20, SR22 piston airplane, and the SF50 Vision Jet. Cirrus is committed to your success. Our comprehensive training program, Cirrus University, will provide you with the hands-on training and mentoring you will need to be successful in our manufacturing environment.

Job duties can include multiple fabrication responsibilities including; hand fabrication of composite parts, tooling preparation and maintenance, cutting and trimming of various manufacturing materials, oven operation, and many more manufacturing processes.

Progression plan with pay increases:

• Technician Level I (6 months)
• Technician Level II-III (1-2 years)
• Technician Level IV (3-5 years)

Competency/Position Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment
• Dependable with a passion for learning and attention to detail
• Basic ability to use a computer to access Cirrus Aircraft electronic data & software
• Manual dexterity: Use your hands with precision on small items and in small spaces

Qualifications:

• Good work history required
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
• A combination of schooling and general mechanical knowledge also considered

Education: High School Diploma or GED required
