Overview:
A global Healthcare and Industrial manufacturer seeks Production Team Lead. Responsible for assuring that the production team personnel and resources from Clean Room/Carton Room/Mixing Room are efficiently utilized, directed, and informed as required to meet department goals, making sure that production lines are running with low scrap and downtime. The Production Team Leader reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the equipment and production team are manufacturing products with a low scrap rate.Interface with day/night shift counterparts at the beginning/end of the shift to assure all pertinent information is transferred from one shift to another.Support and maintain the Epicor system as per requirements.Accurately maintain all relevant measures, logs, and documentation for the production team.Utilize IQS system to confirm documentation and initiate changes of documents through the system as necessary.Print and analyze production job reports.Verify materials are available for scheduled orders.Monitor changeover and line setup efficiency.Perform inspection along production processes during the shift, to communicate and assure all shift personnel conform to all Safety, Quality, Cleaning, Output standards and Procedures.Make sure that the technical department is communicated about any maintenance request.Provide information to the team members for coming production orders.Work with team members on quality and production related issues.Support Shift Supervisor to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.Train team members.Communicate to Production Supervisor any conflict noticed at the production floor.Assure employees adhere to all established start and break times.Requirements:
Bi-Lingual Spanish is required.Must have 1+ years of experience leading and assisting small group activities in a manufacturing environment.High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience in leading groups of 15+ employees.Working knowledge of cGMP, ISO, and FDA regulations a plus.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to act quickly.Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work under minimal supervision.Problem-solving and decision-making skills.Seniority level
