As a Manufacturing Recruiter at Plastipak, you will be a dedicated brand ambassador, engaging with plant manufacturing talent and community partners to highlight the opportunities Plastipak offers. Utilize your recruitment expertise to attract top-notch candidates and grow our team at the Plastipak manufacturing site in Jackson Center.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Utilize diverse tools and channels to proactively attract qualified candidates for plant manufacturing roles at Plastipak.
  • Efficiently screen and advance candidates through the interview and selection process, successfully extending offers and facilitating new hire onboarding.
  • Manage the candidate experience by promptly addressing inquiries and communicating respectfully with all applicants.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations and institutions to create robust talent pipelines.
  • Leverage Workday to streamline the recruitment process and ensure accurate, compliant record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously evaluate and enhance the talent acquisition process.
  • Participate in associate care and engagement initiatives, acting as an HR resource for team members.

Your Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or Communications is preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of recruiting experience.
  • Experience in screening and qualifying candidates for semi-skilled and skilled manufacturing positions.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing talent through community-based channels, with existing local connections being a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in recruitment technologies, including Applicant Tracking Systems (specifically Workday), and social media recruiting.
