Manufacturing Process & Packaging Engineer - Albuquerque Plant - General Mills : Job Details

The Albuquerque Plant is a high performing plant with 400 employees that serves both the Cereal and Snack businesses. The Cereal Department has three processing systems (twinscrew, twinscrew with coating, hybrid twinscrew/sprout) with each feeding multiple packaging lines. The Bars Department has two systems (Chewy and Crunchy) with each feeding multiple packaging lines. The plant operates with a 4-crew structure where the technician team members operate, maintain and clean their systems. The Manufacturing Process and Packaging Engineer (internally called a Sr. Systems Engineer) will provide technical leadership as an equipment, system, and product specialist. This role is responsible to identify, lead, develop, and execute solutions for performance improvements and loss elimination through strong business partnership, strategic productivity, capacity solutions and continuous improvement efforts.
