The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives across all departments at the Wausau facility. This role demands strong expertise in process optimization, project management, and change leadership to improve productivity, quality, and operational standards.

Continuous Improvement Leadership
Identify, develop, and execute improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Capital Project Management
Partner with stakeholders to define scope, justification, budgets, and execution plans for capital investments.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Work closely with department heads to identify improvement opportunities and create strategic action plans.
Data Analysis
Gather and analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and performance gaps.
Training & Development
Facilitate workshops and training on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
Performance Tracking
Monitor KPIs, evaluate initiative progress, and report findings to senior leadership.
Standardization
Create and implement SOPs and best practices for consistent, efficient operations.
Problem Solving
Lead root cause analysis sessions using Lean, Six Sigma, and other structured problem-solving tools.
Documentation
Maintain detailed project records, including goals, timelines, outcomes, and lessons learned.
Change Management
Guide the organization through change initiatives with minimal disruption and high engagement.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt highly desirable.
Experience: 3–5 years in continuous improvement or process engineering, preferably in manufacturing or steel fabrication.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, statistical analysis tools, and project management software.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; capable of influencing without direct authority.
Analytical Thinker: Skilled at identifying process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
