Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Job Title: Manufacturing – Operations Team Leader

• Monday - Friday 2nd Shift opening 2 pm – 10:30 pm and
• Monday-Wednesday Night Shift 5:50 pm – 6:20 pm (3 days/12 hours)

We have partnered with a large network marketing company in the Lewisville, TX area to provide them with an Operations Team Leader.Please review the below description.Responsibilities Of The Operations Team Leader

• Accountable for the timely packaging of global cosmetic and OTC (over-the-counter) products according to established quality and operating criteria and standards for finished goods in excess of 15MM units per month.
• Acts with moderate guidance from cell managers and/or Team Lead III.
• Conducts research on packaging operations issues and makes recommendations for good business decisions.
• Contributes to ensuring safe working practices are followed and contributes ideas to simplify and standardize the workplace.
• Shares ownership in achieving world-class performance and continuous improvement of packaging.
• Accountable for helping to achieve strategies and goals of becoming the world class, low-cost/high quality producer of choice.
• Drives employee alignment and engagement across the value streams of the business.
• Developing, coaching, and mentoring team members for excellent performance.
• Providing direct leadership to production employees in value streams, including work scheduling and assignment, employee training, ensuring production quality and quantity requirements are met; evaluating staffing needs, administering safety, communication, team building, etc. These goals need to be accomplished in a safe and effective manner through utilization, development, and adherence to the manufacturing system.

Requirements Of The Operations Team Leader

• Bachelor's degree in Technical or Engineering discipline.
• 5-7 years experience in cosmetic, food, and/or pharmaceutical packaging or processing production and familiarity with FDA regulations, current good manufacturing practices, and other regulatory issues affecting product manufacturing to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand the business and makes sound business recommendations.
• Must have a proven ability to demonstrate leadership skills in a team environment.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with subordinates and other Manufacturing personnel.
• Must have organization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills in order to analyze equipment problems and isolate root causes.
• Must be flexible to change shifts and/or schedule due to changing business needs.
