Penn United provides work that challenges you, training and career opportunities to advance you, and an amazing benefit compensation program that rewards you.Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Laborer: Collect buckets of carbide and use a dolly to deliver material to the proper areaTransport buckets of material to various teams using a dollySift reclaim powderCrush reclaim billetsLoad and operate sandblasterLoad and push cart to deliver carbide components to other teams within the buildingFollow work instructions, control and safety plansFollow directions of Team LeaderThis is primarily a daylight shift positionQualificationsKnowledge and Skills:Ability to comprehend written proceduresHigh level of concentrationStrong work ethics of dependability and responsibilityHigh degree of accuracy, service attitude, commitment to qualityAble to work independently and cooperatively with teamsMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs. frequently throughout the dayEducation/Experience: High school diploma or equivalentCompensation & benefits: Penn United Technologies currently employs over 650 people in our employee-owned precision manufacturing company, located about 35 miles northeast of Pittsburgh in Butler County.
