Job Description :

Join a growing manufacturing business where finance meets the shop floor.

We are seeking an FP&A and Internal Control Specialist with proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. In this role, you will work closely with operations, supply chain, and plant management to drive accurate forecasting, improve cost transparency, and strengthen internal controls that directly impact production efficiency and profitability.

If you are energized by connecting financial strategy with real operational results — and not just sitting behind spreadsheets — this is the role for you.

This position reports to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis process for our manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and maintain standard costing models, product margin analysis, and operational KPIs.
  • Partner with plant and supply chain teams to analyze production drivers, material usage, labor efficiency, and capacity utilization.
  • Implement and continuously improve internal control frameworks aligned with US GAAP and manufacturing compliance standards.
  • Monitor and improve processes around inventory control, capital expenditure tracking, and cost allocation.
  • Support plants and business units during audits, ensuring documentation accuracy and readiness.
  • Ensure ERP (Macola, SAP, or similar) data integrity and integration with financial reporting.
  • Drive finance-led initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of FP&A or Internal Controls experience, with at least 3 years in manufacturing or industrial finance.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, BOMs, and production performance metrics.
  • ERP experience (Macola preferred); advanced Excel and BI tool skills.
  • CPA, CMA, ACCA, or similar designation preferred; CIA or CISA an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with plant and operations teams — comfortable walking the shop floor.
  • Must have US work authorization.

Why Join Us?

  • Direct impact on operational and financial performance in a growing manufacturing business.
  • Collaborative environment where finance is a true partner to operations.
  • Opportunities for career development in both finance and operational leadership.
