The Opportunity ...The Manufacturing Engineering Manager reports to the Director of Operations and Provides technical assistance in the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of Automated Guided Vehicles(AGVs).
Supports and guides Operations by applying Lean principles. Work with management and staff in Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to meet our goals.
Develops visual controls to strengthen processes.
Provides input on the production floor layout.
Requirements for the role
Supervisory Responsibility:
Directly supervises 2-4 Manufacturing Engineers.
Work Environment:
Position is onsite with some travel to customer sites as necessary
Physical Demands:
While performing the responsibilities of this job, you are regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. You are occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
