What You'll Do

· Analyze and optimize manufacturing workflows to boost quality, safety, and productivity while lowering operational costs.

· Develop and implement standard work procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

· Conduct time and motion studies to establish and refine production benchmarks.

· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.

· Quickly identify and resolve production floor issues to minimize downtime.

· Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives across all production areas.

· Design and improve manufacturing fixtures to streamline operations.

· Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices, applying them to enhance processes.

· Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing data as required.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

· Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma training or certification.

Experience & Skills:

· 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment (e.g., MIG welding, plasma cutting, press brakes, saws, rollers, lathes).

· Experience programming and operating CNC machines (mills and lathes).

· Skilled in reading and creating blueprints.

· Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (including Vault).

· Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.

· Hands-on mechanical aptitude with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Familiar with MRP systems and BOM/routing structures.

· Outstanding attention to detail and communication skills—both written and verbal.

· Ability to manage multiple projects, train others, and lead by example.
