Manufacturing Engineer - Ametek : Job Details

This position serves as a liaison between the engineering department and operations and will be the first contact within the engineering department for manufacturing questions and suggestions. Other duties may include feasibility and safety testing, research and development, oversight of operations to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and standards, and team leadership. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and assembly systems. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing/assembly systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers. Analyze, plan and improve work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum manufacturing efficiency. Develop innovative solutions that benefit production efficiency, quality output and reduces production cost.
