Job Overview

Assists more senior engineers in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tools and machinery to optimize quality and output levels.

- Ensures the definition and update of documents related to posts / training modules for the molding and extrusion process.

- Obtains setup parameters for machines and inputs them into the injection molding press.

- Ensures the industrialization of new tools and injection parts.

- Defines and manages injection process parameters for new and existing tools.

- Upgrades and continuously improves tooling and injection process machinery.

- Performs stopwatch analyses, improves ergonomics of workstations.

- Contributes to the layout of main workstations and the identification of sub-elements.

- Defines, designs, and follows up on tooling needed to produce new part numbers.

- Assists and trains operators and monitors to start new tooling and molding machines.

- Supports the installation of molding lines and finishing after flow analysis, promoting the concept of piece-by-piece production.

- Supports the launch of new projects: capacity studies, equipment ordering, staff training.

- Optimizes and restructures existing manufacturing processes.

- Creates process documentation & work instructions according to quality standards.

- Ensures engineering changes and new products are implemented.

- Monitors TEOA KPIs and reporting standards.

- Monitors OEE, scrap rate, and line efficiency; leads actions to improve these metrics.

- Supports new project launches, capacity studies, equipment ordering, and staff training.

Your ideal background

• Master's or engineering diploma required.

• 1-2 years experience with plastics processing (molding, extrusion, label manufacturing) in the automotive industry.

• SAP master data knowledge.

• Knowledge of extrusion and molding machines: Engel, Arburg, Billion.

• Injection machine setup experience.

• Ability to read drawings.

• Basic electrical, mechanical, and automation knowledge.

• Analytical thinking skills.

• Good communication skills.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing.

• Project management skills.

• Team player mentality.
