What You'll Do In your first 6–12 months, you'll:
  • Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes from cradle to grave.
  • Own continuous improvement projects, driving measurable gains in quality, efficiency, safety, and ergonomics.
  • Support cross-functional teams with root cause analysis, CAPAs, and defect reduction (e.g., mold cracking, non-fills).
  • Develop and implement standards, training materials, and SOPs for operators and leaders.
  • Lead or assist in capital projects—from ROI justification to implementation.
  • Support environmental compliance, including hazardous material disposal and site audits.
  • Take over process auditing responsibilities, including ISO compliance and external/internal audits.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct time studies and validate manufacturing standards.
  • Recommend and implement tooling and method improvements.
  • Drive corrective actions for manufacturing and customer quality issues.
  • Partner with maintenance and production to troubleshoot tooling/equipment issues.
  • Research and apply best practices, automation solutions, and ergonomic improvements.
  • Support the design for manufacturability of new products and processes.

⚙ What You BringRequired:
  • Bachelor's in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering—or equivalent technical experience
  • 2+ years in a manufacturing environment (assembly, molding, stamping, or tooling preferred)
  • Working knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with root cause analysis tools
  • Strong communication skills—you're a relationship-builder, not just a problem-solver
  • High floor presence—this is an 80–90% hands-on role
Preferred:
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
  • Exposure to injection molding, compression molding, or press operations
  • Familiarity with ISO or other regulated quality environments
  • ERP/MRP systems knowledge
How We Measure Success Within your first year, we expect you to:
  • Be fluent in all plant processes and identify major improvement opportunities
  • Drive measurable improvements in OLE, scrap reduction, safety metrics, and PPMs
  • Successfully close corrective action reports and support CAPA tracking
  • Lead at least one capital project and support several CI initiatives
  • Own and lead ISO process auditing and RR Enclosures compliance
