Manufacturing Engineer - ABB Group : Job Details

This position will provide Manufacturing Engineering support to manufacturing operations of the plant. Typical duties include process design, tooling design, Capital project design and implementation, work instruction documentation, production and maintenance support. The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite. This role is contributing to the Motion NEMA Motors division in Columbus, MS area. You will be mainly accountable for: Plan and implement engineering projects including equipment, tooling, and process improvements. Review project design for compliance with engineering principles, safety requirements, company standards, and other related specifications. Generate project approval justification through Capital Asset Project Requests (CAPR) and manage Capital Projects including procurement, installation, programming, training, documentation, support to production, and provide status reports as required.
