About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Manufacturing Associate
• Pay Rate: $21/Hour
• Location: Lester Prairie, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM & Friday 6AM-2PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire
Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the day
Frequent standing/walking /stooping/turning while carrying materials
Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
Strong organizational skills
Effective communication skills
Attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Must be a team player.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble Trusses and Gables using hammer and tape measure
Operate Radial Arm Saw
Manually stack wood as it comes off of the machine
Assist with finger joiner-tape measure and stack
Properly package and handle incoming/outgoing orders
Responsible for the performing daily cycle counts of various types of inventory
Tracking past due backorders verses incoming material
Unload material and handle material from truck with forklift as needed and required
Work in various areas of the plant based on business needs
Maintain clean work areas
Other duties as assigned.
Dress for the weather as parts of the job are outside. Shorts ok. No loose strings or loose items that could get caught in machines.
