Job Description: As an Assembly Technician you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Sensors Division working alongside our Production team. This role will be responsible for performing assembly of electro optical and infrared products. Essential Functions: • Complete Assigned manufacturing process steps (ie. Building camera's from a kit of circuit boards,wire harness's, and IDCA's) • Complete assigned solder processes as required. • Support group objectives for on-time delivery. • Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components for customer deliverables. • Able to work with hand tools screw drivers and wrenches • Follow industry standard or practice for 6S. • Be able to work from drawings and work instructions Qualifications: • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0 to 2 years of prior relevant experience. • Proficient computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office. • Minimum 1 year of experience reading & following drawings and work instructions preferred.
